Governance expectations under QFC

QFC SPCs follow a governance framework that emphasizes transparency, accountability, and documented controls for transaction-specific activities.

SPCs must appoint at least one director and a company secretary
SPCs must appoint a Senior Executive Function (SEF)
SPCs must appoint a QFC-approved Support Service Provider (SSP)
SPCs are exempt from audited accounts and annual general meetings unless requested by QFCA
No minimum share capital requirement applies to SPCs
